My goal was to clear out all the demo workspace configuration so a new geowave installaed geosever would just have a single geowave workspace listed. This resulted in a GeoServer that would throw a stack trace when any Layer Preview was attempted due to what Rich identified as an incomplete reset of several of the demo data files (layergroup configs).
