Reproduction steps

Have a WSL share and open a repository on it

Seems to be a regression #6349.

Expected behavior

open_repository works as did with older versions

Actual behavior

Cannot open the repository: "failed to get security information: Incorrect function."

Seems to come from:

Version of libgit2 (release number or SHA1)
