- KOReader version: stable 2024.11
- Device: Kindle Voyage w/ Origami Cover (can control sleep/wake)
Issue
I've noticed that battery use on standby is worse than under stock utilization. After a complete drain and full recharge cycle, I read for 30 minutes with frontlight at 6 before going to bed. Battery was at 98%. I checked the battery the next morning and was at 89%. Battery stats showed a drain of 1% per hour. I checked the logs and noticed a warning regarding an unscheduled wakeup about an hour after I slept and then nothing until the next morning. There are multiple instances of this warning with varying durations since I've installed KOreader earlier in the week.
Could it be related to the Origami cover? It's not clear that there's a relationship based on log entries and time stamps, as sometimes the warning occurs very early in the morning when it's been undisturbed for hours. Can any other Voyage/Origami users corroborate?
What does the Kindle unscheduled wakeup warning mean? And if there are no additional entries after, does that mean it remains awake for that duration?
Steps to reproduce
- Let device go to standby due to inactivity.
- Sometime later close cover.
- Sometime later check battery usage for anomaly/logs for WARN
crash.log (if applicable)
