Overview
The behavior of the auto type hot key is different in how the windows it reacts in were created.
My best guess is that this is a permission problem, but I don't see any error messages.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open keepassxc
- Take a XFCE-Terminal (opened by the xfce session manager on startup)
- Press autotype hotkey
- Cursor blinks, nothing happens
Now comes the interesting part: It works for starter-generated windows or windows created with the "File/New Window" menu.
Expected Behavior
- Open a XFCE Terminal
- Press autotype hotkey
- Autotype shows up. If interaction with the OS fails, I'd at least expect a popup with an error message.
Actual Behavior
The cursor is blinking, but nothing is happening.
Reassigning the autotype hotkey makes the behavior move with the new key assignment.
