Brief Summary

Currently the default behavior is to "search-as-you-type". Personally, I would prefer to have to press the Enter/Return key for a search to occur. This makes a user feel more in control of their searches. It also is less visibly distracting as search hits will not be flashing in and out of the results pane frequently as a user types. This could be an option alongside the current method through use of a toggle switch which switches between the two search methods.

Additionally, having an advanced search form with multiple fields could be another possible related improvement. In that scenario having to press the Enter key would make sense given the context.
