Feature Description

We could/show expose metrics. I'm not super familiar with typical operator metrics, but expose phases or conditions via metrics to record them over time, or numbers of objects, time to process them, etc.

Proposed Solution

Extend the metrics server already built into kcp-operator with additional metrics.
