All Kata Components use highly structured logging.

We now need to consider adding full tracing abilities using OpenTracing as we can leverage the existing tooling and capitalise on the log fields we've added.

I've only started to look at open tracing but it sounds like we're going to have to think very carefully about where we inject traces and spans to get the maximum benefit.
