I saw this in the TODO list of the readme, but it's hard to discuss implementation details there, so let's have a ticket.

I'd do this by adding a new notify command that would check the tasks and send notifications based on due times. This can be added easily to cron, and still we could keep the simple command line interface (which I really like).

What do you think about this?
