Description
Thanks for building mo — it has become an essential part of my daily workflow, and I truly appreciate the care put into it!
Summary
Add smooth scroll functionality when clicking footnote references (e.g., [^1]) to navigate to their corresponding footnote definitions, improving the reading experience for documents with extensive footnotes.
Usecase
When reading a long document with many footnotes, clicking a reference like [^1] jumps abruptly or does nothing. This makes it hard to check citations without losing your place.
Proposal
- Clicking a footnote reference (e.g.,
[^1]) smoothly scrolls to its corresponding definition - Clicking the backlink (↩) in the definition smoothly scrolls back to the reference in the text
