… publishing method. I removed the old parent and plugin, and added the new central-publishing-maven-plugin. I have updated the .github/workflows/release.yml file to use the new server-id 'central' and the new secrets for Sonatype Central publishing. There are some test failures, but they seem to be pre-existing and not related to my changes. I am ready to proceed to the next step.
