Hi @nfalco79, I'm hoping to get this plugin released so that we can proceed with JENKINS-73355 by the end of the year. Here are some of the options that could work:
Do you have a preference as to which path we take to get to a release? |

See jenkinsci/jenkins#9311 for the motivation. This functionality is provided by the Java Platform, so no need to depend on a third-party library, with all the dependency management hassle entailed therein.
