Currently, whatever language Feishin is set to, US date formats are used. These are unpopular with non-US users.

Not only are the month names not translated for users with Feishin set to, say, German - de Dezember is rendered as Dec, not Dez - English speakers from outside the US are also confronted with back-to-front Month DD, YYYY formats, where they should be seeing DD Month YYYY.

Would it be possible for Feishin to pick up on date formats from the OS locale? Or would it make sense for this option to be set manually in the UI? Or both?
