Allergy Ally is an app which allows for user to upload a picture of a menu, select their allergies, and recieve a list of menu items that they may be able to eat. This app is intended to help those with food allergies speed up their process of finding out what they can eat on a menu by removing choices which we can determine have their allergen.

This app was created at HackRU Spring 19 and won 2nd place for the Wakefern award.

It makes use of:

• Android Front End
• NodeJS backend using Google Cloud Vision API
• Web scraper written in Javascript using the JSSoup API
