@Stebalien any chance we can squeeze this into 0.6.0-rc2 (#7347), or is it too late?
This and v2.8.0 bring i18n updates and various UI bugfixes / improvements only.
(no changes to HTTP client libs, APIs etc, afaik no surface for regressions)
