Platform: android 4.4 webview

I have expose-aside-when on the left menu and it works great. But when it's on portrait mode, if I click on the side left popover, the menu content will be shown without expect it. I have done a codepen to show it. To check, it:

Put it on portrait mode.
Click the button who shows the left menu.
Click the popover which is on the footer.
(the left menu will be closed)

How can I solve it? I want my menu opened when I see the popover.
