Steps to reproduce:
In addition to #8404
- Include metric data for the Wavefront output plugin that has no metric name.
- Observe error logged has no relevant information for troubleshooting what data is bad:
E! [outputs.wavefront] non-retryable error during Wavefront.Write: empty metric name.
Expected behavior:
Set logging level to debug = true under agent in telegraf.conf and see what data is invalid.
Actual behavior:
No increased logging.
