Adding ElectricDipoleMoment quantity [ElectricCharge * Length],
and ElectricQuadrupoleMoment quantity [ElectricCharge * Area]
units of EDM:

  • Coulomb * meter [base unit]
  • Debye == statcoulomb * angstrom, numerically equal to 1/speed_of_light[m] * 1E-21 [C*m]
  • elementary charge * centimeter, where elementary charge is a synonym of atomic unit of charge == electron charge.
  • atomic unit of EDM: elementary charge * Bohr radius
    units of EQM:
  • coulomb * square meter
  • elementary charge * barn
  • atomic unit of EQM: elemetary charge * square Bohr radius
