Yes
Install Method
Flatpak
Aerion Version
0.1.31
Description
When Aerion launches, the cursor turns to busy animation (spinner). However, when Aerion is finished loading, the cursor on the desktop, top bar, dock etc, is still spinning. It's not spinning within the Aerion window (or any other window for that matter) except for the gnome-shell (i'm not sure for other DE's).
I have temporarily created my own .desktop file for Aerion with StartupNotify=false so the spinner doesn't appear at all when launching Aerion.
Steps to Reproduce
- Launch Aerion
Expected Behavior
- The cursor should turn to 'busy' state, since Aerion is loading.
- The cursor should stop spinning when Aerion finishes loading.
Actual Behavior
The cursor keeps spinning indefinitely, or when it times out after a while (it does timeout), or Aerion might give the notification to gnome-shell, but very late (I haven't counted how long, but it looks like 60 seconds, which might be GNOME's timeout default). It does this even when Aerion is launched when hidden. It might look like Aerion signals completion to gnome that it has finished loading up since when you launch the application, your cursor is within the window, but move the cursor outside the window on the desktop or the top bar, and the cursor is indeed still spinning.
