Description

@alaendle

Very simple reproduction - just create a new project (via stack new) and add the line cpp-options: ["-std=c99"]. Afterwards start ghcide and it will produce the mentioned error.

For now I keep short, but please don't hesitate to ask if I could provide further information or clarify things.
