As we transition to Participant recruitment we'll need to put together a strategy / outline for how to advertise each of the individual projects. For each project we should have a kind of template.

Remember, the objective of these descriptions is to entice Participants to join this project, so make sure to include a significance or rationale for why this is worth doing.

For the website side of things, I'll need the following for each project.

Project Promotional Materials

• Project Title
• Listed Team Leader. Optional: contact email, link to website
• The Hook. In two-three sentences advertise the goal of your project and why it would be fun to join this particular team. (~ 1 line background/justification, ~1-2 lines on premise of project)
• Project Abstract: (~300 words) Should have been completed with the application but may be revised. Detail what the project is about and what you're going to do.
• Required Skills: What skills or knowledge is required a priori from the participants to be able to take part on this team
• Optional Skills: What skills or knowledge would be beneficial for the participants to have but is not necessary to take part.
• Graphic Abstract(Optional): Also if you want to get more attention with your project, make a 400x400px graphic abstract or image which we can use to promote your project on social media. This will increase the attention the posting (and your project) receives.

For the skills, please rate the level of competency requested for each skill out of 3 stars.

• 0 Star: "I'm familiar with sea."
• 1 Star: "I can work with this language if I have access to Stack Overflow".
• 2 Star: "I know this language and use it in my work/projects regularly."
• 3 Star: "I'm am one with the language. I've developed software using it."
