Description

Hi, hopefully this issue hasn't been raised before...

Related to #492 I was evaluating the results with reference / citation consolidation enabled.

In general, where there is a DOI it probably doing a good job. Overall it is doing well but there are a few error cases.

Example 1

Found in 10.1101/402743.

Tsodikov A, Gulati R, Heijnsdijk EAM, Pinsky PF, Moss SM, Qiu S, et al. Reconciling the Effects of Screening on Prostate Cancer Mortality in the ERSPC and PLCO Trials. Ann Intern Med. 2017;167(7):449-455.

That resolved to to 10.7326/l17-0738 which has the same title but only the first author matched. It is dated 2018.

There seem to be a better matching 10.7326/M16-2586 from 2017. Where all of the author names match.

Example 2

Found in 10.1101/384735

Kimmel CB, Warga RM, Schilling TF. Origin and organization of the zebrafish fate map. Development. 1990; 108(4): 581-594.

The title of the "consolidated" 10.1038/337358a0 does not seem to match A mutation that changes cell movement and cell fate in the zebrafish embryo. There only the first author matches.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2387237/ seem to be a better match.

Example 3

Found in 10.1101/389288

World Health Organization. Global Tuberculosis Report 2017. Geneva; 2017.

Is resolving to 10.1054/tube.2001.0308 with the title Global Forum on TB Vaccine Research and Development. World Health Organization, June 7–8 2001, Geneva. The year also doesn't match. There is also no mention of the collaboration group World Health Organization in the output XML.
