Tahoe-LAFS and magic-wormhole already support Tor integration via txtorcon. Accordingly, Gridsync should provide user-facing options for taking advantage of this (along with suitable warnings, status indicators for Tor-related activity, and by implementing additional measures to prevent accidental de-anonymization). In order to reduce initial friction for users that don't already use/need Tor, however, such options should probably only become available on systems that already have a tor daemon available/running (e.g., by having txtorcon check for Tor before presenting/loading the appropriate options in the UI).
