On ZKAPAuthorizer-enabled storage grids, it can take some time (in minutes, depending on the batch size/amount) for ZKAPs to be redeemed. During this time, Gridsync will update the ZKAP bar chart accordingly, displaying the overall progression of the redemption process (akin to a traditional progress bar). While it is possible to add folders immediately after some amount of ZKAPs have been redeemed (and the toolbar buttons will become "active" to indicate this), this is perhaps not communicated particularly well, as some users in past user testing sessions thought it necessary to wait until all ZKAPs were redeemed before taking further action; it was not clear that other actions could be taken in the meantime. Accordingly, Gridsync should take additional measures to communicate when it is possible to add folders.
