In our case, we have our own custom/internal cache actions solution, so it would be great to be able to use our cache instead of the GH actions cache which is very limiting for our use case.

The existing requests are about providing support to specific external solutions such as runs-on/cache, and my request is about making it configurable in general (if it's even feasible).

Or is forking the only solution for this case?
