Incentives in P2P privacy preserving networks #14

@gpestana

Description

@gpestana

Maintaining and running a secure P2P privacy preserving network requires computational resources and has potentially high costs. Peers who reliably offer resources to the commons should be rewarded for it. Rewards can also work as incentives for good behaviour.

Applications:

Some ideas:

  • Protocol using micro blockchain transactions using zero knowledge proofs or confidential zero sum blockchain transactions (as in Mimblewimble/Grin);

  • Any reward should be transferred in an anonymous way.
