It seems we have a limitation when assigning an issue more than once to an agent, in our company we usually have one issue in a "global" repository that can be linked to multiple repositories. So for example, we have one global repo where we create our Github issues and two separate repositories for the iOS app and android app.
When we try to assign copilot to work on the global issue for both repositories we receive the error copilot is already assigned to issue XXXX.
It seems we can only assign copilot once for one issue.
So basically what I'm asking for is multi platform (multi repo) support for copilot assignments.
