Now what feels like a year later, I’m starting to think the only way we can get this feature prioritized is if anyone can delete tmux from @mhashimoto‘s laptop 😜 Maybe we just need pluggable “console buffer providers” And people like the ghostty author can use one for local or remote tmux/socket instances or whatever, and the remaining 99% of users can have a console that is restored after reboot, just like macOS terminal.app - future proof design, everyone happy 😊
