Backstory

I have a shorty (12U) 19-inch rack in my office which hosts my TrueNAS server. I am currently two versions behind on my TrueNAS updates because the fine folks at IX Systems (oblique Dune reference) changed from K8S to Docker to Incus in just as many versions of the software. I decided I needed to do something about this. After getting my birthday/Father's Day present (permission from my wife to get an M3 Ultra Mac Studio I had been saving up two years for), I took my SFF Windows PC apart to convert it into a Proxmox server. If I was going to have to rebuild my containers and migrate a bunch of data, I wanted it on a system that won't change its container MO with every trip to the bathroom. Jeff's evangelizing about 10-inch rack systems was also a catalyst for this as it would be a way cheaper solution than get another 19-inch rack (the first one is full) and a MiniITX rackmount server chassis.
