Up until version v8.10 localhost URLs were going through proxy rules and this is a very useful feature.
In particular we use this to access remote web servers over ssh-based port forwarding.

However v8.10 added an unconditional bypassing localhost URLs which made us downgrade and disable auto-updates.

It would be really appreciated if there would be an option to disable this new feature.
