Issue Summary

When using the text editor, there is an issue with the "italic" formatting button. Clicking the "italic" button to active it works as expected. However, when clicking it again to inactive it, the text unexpectedly becomes bold instead of returning to regular text.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to app
2. then, Click on start from scratch
3. Now, go to welcome card

Expected behavior

When inactive the "italic" formatting by clicking the button again, the text should return to regular formatting (not bold).

Other information

Currently, in the text editor, there is no clear visual indicator to inform users whether the "bold" formatting is active or not. This lack of clarity can lead to confusion when applying or inactive bold formatting. To enhance the user experience, it would be valuable to implement a visual indicator for the active "bold" formatting.
