Feature Description
When monitoring the DX cluster, many operators prefer to filter out FT8 and FT4 spots to focus on CW, SSB, and other traditional modes. Currently, mode-based filtering isn't always reliable because DX cluster nodes inconsistently tag these spots — sometimes the mode field is blank, says "DATA", or uses other labels.
A more robust approach would be to allow frequency-range-based exclusion filters for the DX cluster spot display. Since FT8 and FT4 operate on well-defined, narrow frequency segments, filtering by frequency is far more reliable than filtering by mode string.
Suggested frequency exclusion ranges
Each range includes a ±1 kHz margin around the expected signal passband to account for variations in audio offset and spot reporting.

Proposed implementation
Ideally, this could be a user-configurable list of frequency ranges to exclude (or include) in the DX cluster spot list, so operators can customize it to their needs. A set of built-in presets for "Exclude FT8/FT4" would make this immediately useful out of the box.
This would complement the existing mode-based filtering and provide a reliable fallback when mode tags are missing or inconsistent.
