From Mailing is - K3SNO:
I have setup several "QLog - Ham Laptops" for several local club members who have varying license classes here in the US. One comment I have gotten from all of them is that they have no indication when a spotted contact is outside of their band allocation. What I have suggested to them is to change the File > Settings > Bands to a range of frequencies they are allocated, but this has dis-advantages for the individuals who operate both CW/Digital and SSB modes.
My suggestion therefore is if the band map colored border (now a grey-ish stripe) could be color coded (perhaps divided into 3 or 4 color options) so that they could customize that stripe to indicate area they can operate.
