• Needs more tests. Right now there are none.
• Boilerplate example/README.md should be deleted. Pub will link to the more useful example/lib/main.dart if it doesn't exist, so it's actually better to get it out of the way. It being an example app is already fairly obvious from the directory name.

As part of adding the missing DartDocs, it would be good to add a package-specific analysis_options with public_member_api_docs turned on, like flutter/plugins#2268. That will keep this from regressing.
