This would make for a better experience instead of using the current default of 18.0 on all devices. At least on my device (Samsung S7 SM G930T), changing the value back to the Android default of 8.0 makes it feel smoother.

Also, to be clear, I don't know if device manufacturers actually change the default value, but in the Android documentation for the ViewConfiguration class it suggests that it should be changed as needed.
