HI,

When opening my USB webcam using the built-in Windows camera app I see a reasonably high quality 1920 x 1080 (16:9) image.

When accessing the same webcam using the camera_windows plugin the preview reports a size of 320 x 240 (4:3). When recording a video the video has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 but there are black bars on the left and right sides of the video.
