Current situation

The scripts in the scripts/ci-automation folder don't run mantle's plume yet for AWS and Azure image uploads.

Impact

We can't use it for releases yet.

Ideal future situation

We have a release job that does this (and more as described in #650)

Implementation options

Additional information

The images are not published from GCS but from bincache, this required changes in mantle.
