Version
2.53.1
Description
Uploading a .flac file to your server (mine is SMB mounted on a RPI, connected to the routers USB) through filebrowser corrupts the .flac file.
What did you expect to happen?
Have .flac files not corrupt when uploading them through filebrowser.
What actually happened?
The .flac files corrupt, playing them back in navidrome/fleishin/filebrowser native player stops the file playback prior to the file finishing. I've had it happen at 00:01, 00:07, 04:08 and other timestamps.
Reproduction Steps
- Get a .flac file (mine is called 1 - Keep Their Heads Ringin’ (LP version).flac)
- Run it through flac -t "1 - Keep Their Heads Ringin’ (LP version).flac" (Download tool at https://xiph.org/flac/download.html)
- Get ok message:
1 - Keep Their Heads Ringin’ (LP version).flac: ok
- Upload .flac file to your media server through filebrowser UI
- Playback breaks at random interval.
- Download .flac file to your PC
- Run it through flac -t "1 - Keep Their Heads Ringin’ (LP version).flac"
- File corrupts with error:
1 - Keep Their Heads Ringin’ (LP version).flac: *** Got error code 0:FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_ERROR_STATUS_LOST_SYNC after processing 10940544 samples
1 - Keep Their Heads Ringin’ (LP version).flac: *** Got error code 0:FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_ERROR_STATUS_LOST_SYNC after processing 10940544 samples1 - Keep Their Heads Ringin’ (LP version).flac: ERROR while decoding data
state = FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_ABORTED
