Fix conda permission errors for Mac builds on Azure. Stop updating conda on Travis builds for more stability.

Fix: Don't remove the "defaults" channel from conda. Now that conda-forge has finished the compiler migration this isn't a big problem anymore and can actually cause problems down the line.
