Not sure if this is already available or a missing feature.
(I opened also a discussion but decided to open an issue here since I didn't find many discussions specific about sphinx-design.)

In sphinx-panels it is possible to pad (which indirectly rescales) an image in a panel as explained here.

I am looking for the same thing here.

Even better would be the possibility to define the width of the image.
