As part of our recent enhancements for 7.8.0, we added a new alert type for TLS cert expiration/age. One thing we did not include was an E2E-style functional test for the creation of this alert type.

We should add a test like this before the first BC for 7.8.0 to help ensure the stability of the new feature.
