What does this PR do?
This PR predefines the available input groups as
logsandmetricsinstead of allowing each package to define its own.Why is it important?
For consistency across packages. We want to start off conservative by predefining the input groups as
logsandmetrics. In the future, if necessary, we can relax this restriction.For details, see discussion starting from elastic/package-registry#685 (comment).
