Kibana version: 7.10.0

Elasticsearch version: 7.10.0

Server OS version: Windows 2012 Server

Browser version: Chrome and Firefox

Browser OS version: Windows 10

Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, from source, etc.): default dist zip

Describe the bug: If you have enough index patterns available in Discover that there is a scroll bar in the index pattern selection pop-up, and you scroll with a mouse wheel, when you click an index pattern in the list it doesn't select it. It requires a second click. If you click on the scroll bar and move it, and then click an index pattern name then it does select it on the first click.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create at least 7 index patterns so that you have a list with a scroll bar in Discover like this;

  2. First select an index pattern at the top of the list

  3. open the selection list again, and use a mouse with a scroll wheel to move down the list.

  4. click an index pattern from the bottom of the list

Expected behavior: The index pattern you click on should be selected, but in my case it's not.

Screenshots (if relevant):
In this gif I click to open the index pattern selection, scroll with the mouse wheel, and click on an index pattern. But it doesn't change.
