The Reporting API to generate the CSV currently requires a number of parameters that describe the underlying query to execute against Elasticsearch, based primarily to support the ad-hoc CSV export use-case. There's been a request on Discuss to add an API endpoint that can be used to trigger the CSV export for a specific Saved Search that updates as the underlying Saved Search is updated: https://discuss.elastic.co/t/creating-and-retrieve-csv-generation-links/114605/3
