Kibana version: 6.2.4
Elasticsearch version: 6.2.4
Server OS version: Elastic Cloud
Browser version: Chrome version 66.0.3359.117 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Browser OS version: macOS 10.13.4
Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, from source, etc.): Elastic Cloud
Description of the problem including expected versus actual behavior:
Expected: Hover over an annotation should display the message without flickering even if the annotation is at the right edge of the chart and the legend is moved to the bottom of the chart.
Actual: The message pops up (I am guessing from here on out), the message exceeds the width of the chart area, it disappears and then pops back up again as I am still hovering. Repeats until I move the mouse.
Steps to reproduce:
- Build a Visual Time Series line graph
- Configure the legend to be at the bottom of the chart (probably anywhere but right side)
- Add an annotation with a 30 char long message
- Cause the annotation query to match at the current time (so it is at far right)
- Hover over the annotation
