Typically, in a dashboard, I have a default stringquery panel, broadcasting to a histogram, an event table, etc. I can have a derivequeries panel too, for use with a stacked histogram or a trends panel. But the derivequeries panel search field isn't populated if I modify the search in the default stringquery panel. I can't put both panels in the same group, AFAIK it doesn't work.
Is there a way to populate the search field of a derivequeries panel with the search of a stringquery panel ? Maybe it would be easier to merge both panels and to allow a classic stringquery panel to derive queries if needed.
