Originally when we added the Kinesis integration, because the CloudWatch namespace to collect metrics is called AWS/Kinesis, we named this integration AWS Kinesis. But now with more and more new integrations added/will add into the AWS family, we realized it's better to rename the kinesis integration to kinesis data stream integration.

This way it's more clear for the users about what metrics are being collected by this specific integration. AWS Kinesis includes Kinesis Video Streams, Kinesis Data Streams, Kinesis Data Firehose and Kinesis Data Analytics 4 different capabilities. And this integration is only collecting monitoring metrics from CloudWatch for data streams.
