Since [v.24.0.0](https://github.com/elastic/elastic-charts/releases/tag/v24.0.0) elastic-charts ships an improved value labels feature, [currently merged in Lens](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/81776) with [a theme customization](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/blob/406a568d0c08f15a8e8c80068e3d22fae0a4db39/x-pack/plugins/lens/public/xy_visualization/expression.tsx#L448). [As suggested by @markov00](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/81776#discussion_r518648513) this theme customization should be integrated into EUI.
