We reuse our breaking changes in the Elastic Installation and Upgrade Guide. To prevent broken links, we have to use external links rather than xrefs inside breaking changes. I've opened #83590 to fix this in the 8.1 and 8.2 branches as well. This'll make future backports easier. |
