Currently, geopoints and geoshape expose some, but not all of the available mapped data as part of doc-style access scripting API. Given the relative uniqueness of these two mapped types compared to other fields, it's worth a discussion on what parity means as part of the new scripting fields API, and if we should expose the actual underlying data of geoshape since only centroid is available right now, but not the type of shape or the points within the shape.
