Describe the solution you'd like
-
Inline @mentions in documents
- Typing
@username in the page editor triggers:
- Autocomplete on workspace users.
- Automatic email notification to the mentioned user (respecting each user’s notification settings).
- Optional in-app notification in the sidebar/bell.
-
Default subscribers on page creation
- “Add collaborators” multi-select when creating a page.
- Selected users become subscribers and receive all subsequent notifications (comments, edits, mentions).
-
“Notify subscribers” action
- A button in the toolbar/history allowing the editor to send an immediate email (and/or webhook) summarising the latest change set to:
- All page subscribers.
- All users mentioned with
@ anywhere in the page.

Additional context
This would bring Docmost closer to Confluence/Notion collaborative workflows and keep stakeholders in the loop without leaving the editor.
